  • That's really unfortunate that this happened. Are they planning on moving your posts to a different instance, like lemmy.world, or will they try to get people to come to ani.social for the episode interaction with Shinobu bot?

  • A well earned viewership, the adaptation has been absolutely amazing.

  • I don't believe Helck's team was strong enough to get him out of there and bandaged up. Him passing out sure leaves a big gap in what could have really happened that he ended up there.

  • Making carbon fiber from earth feels kinda hax. Was that really something she could do in the original game?

  • That poor cat will remain traumatized for the rest of its life thanks to Yor. Interesting that they are setting up Loid and Yor to clash. It was inevitably going to happen and I look forward to see how they manage it. Though I assume it will just be their orgs clashing at first while they remain blissfully unaware of each other. As for Anya, I wonder what it meant for her to have done well in the Ancient Languages test. Loid brought it up as something worth noting.

  • Dang Maomao, that was incredibly forceful when dealing with that lady in waiting. That's an aspect of her character I was not expecting.

  • I had that issue too, apparently the vendor gave me a code for the wrong piece of hardware, either way amd support helped me get the correct code that verified properly.

  • Yeah what I'm looking forward to would require a second season of 24 episodes to reach, but it will be glorious when it does.

  • I mean, we have that back story with the demon child. It looked like it successfully lived with humans for a good while. But it failed when it killed the mayor to take his daughter. That misunderstanding on it's part led to every human in the village suddenly turning on them.

If it had not failed there, it could possibly have still been living with the town in peace. Or it would have failed some other way eventually and had to kill everyone.

  • So far. Never trust a publicly traded company when they think there is money to be made.

  • So this one was less of a mystery to solve and more of an emotional journey as the ghost lady schemes her own freedom. It feels kinda reckless of Maomao to reveal her thoughts to Gyokuyou as it could get her in trouble if the wrong person heard.

  • They really screwed up by not telling everyone to shut up about Sei. If anything, it made the Prince more sus than if she had just been working there normally.

  • I'm assuming the mindless immortal army is meant to conquer the world, so there won't be a need to interact with other kingdoms. Every one they conquer is another populace to turn into heroes for their ever increasing army.

And I assume the drones can be assigned to do manual labor like farm work as stuff for food, otherwise they will be screwed way faster than I thought.

  • So the nobility is just absolutely irredeemable garbage. That tracks. Turning everyone into mindless slaves is a simple enough evil plan that even Helck can grasp it right away.

  • Nice work of Rae to turn that damsel event into a Claire opportunity. Having her pull a Pikachu and ignore type advantages.

  • So, not only is Maomao kidnapped and sold, but they also garnish her wages to send to the kidnappers? What a ridiculous system.

  • I wonder if he's happy someone is immune to his charm or if he was really into getting scowled at like that. Or both, both would be great.

  • It's wild how the setup is literally, our hero gets kidnapped and sold. And she just acts the entire time, like meh, it happens.

I look forward to seeing more, the art was gorgeous.

  • It was nice to see Yuri again, but it wasn't very interesting. I hope they can make his stories better outside of his interactions with Loid and Yor.

  • The way the demons are in this series, it almost feels at odds with how relaxed the characters are. It's a calm, soothing world as long as you don't mind the monsters wearing a human face while talking sweet words, out to eat you.
