If anything, trans people and the gay community are freer than you'll ever be, they're being their true selves. They've got the courage it takes to come out and be themselves, and honestly, as a straight white cis man who is comfortable with gay people existing, I just wonder if the reason you're so worried is because you're scared you might be gay too. That's usually how it starts, homophobia is mostly just fearful projection from closeted homosexuals that haven't been told that it's ok to be gay.
