  • You can see people walking in the path if the car much easier If a small child ran behind the car while reversing I don't think I'd see them even anywhere near as well as I would if they ran out in front of the car as i was pulling out of the space.

  • You don't post you code to GitHub because you self host you something or other

I don't post any code to GitHub cos I don't code and I'm not really sure what's going on

    Are we the same? Idk

  • I live in an area with a large number of pubs that are local. There are ones as you described which are just full of drunks and shit quality overall which I avoid.

There's definitely ones I avoid because they're intended for families and the children will scream about the place as you would expect children to do. They're great for families though, they have play areas for kids, those little claw grabby machines, they serve food and have a large beer garden with an outdoor play area.

My favourite one is a microbrewery, no kids, not too many people in there so bar staff can see who's had a bit too much but the people who drink there generally don't cause any trouble anyway.

  • I use AI a lot in work because my English grammar is poor. It's also my first language. I read over everything it gives me to make sure it's factually correct and edit it to make it sound more human but other than that it does most of the heavy lifting. What used to take about an hour now takes 15 minutes with the right prompt.

  • I had the same thing on Reddit, got banned/downvoted even when I said "just playing devil's advocate"

It seems discussion is moving over for the new angrily shouting your opinion and ignoring any other information.

  • I think it's fair to say every kid likes to take credit for something they were shown by a grown up that they find out other kids don't know yet.

There's always that one young kid that made up a joke that everyone over the age of 10 has already heard.
