iirc they'll be able to respond to posts that were already loaded into their instance, and you'll be able to see it, but if you respond, they won't see the response.
They're just not accepting any new data from blahaj. Blahaj hasn't defederated from them, so blahaj is happy to accept any new data they throw at it.
I had a blahaj person make a similar response to a message of mine a few weeks ago, before hexbear was even on the radar. I just rolled my eyes and may have sent some sort of "wow, what a dumb take" response or something.
As always, drama is fueled by incorrect information and wildly out of context posts. I'm the "chaser" they're talking about. It was my post.
Someone literally asked me if I would date a pre-transition trans man or a post-transition trans woman, and I said yes. That's all. Not a chaser. Just one specific response to one specific question about my personal preferences.
And I'm a straight cis man and 99% of the women I've dated have been straight cis women. Just because statistically that's how it shakes out. I find it a bit hilarious that I've been labeled a chaser by these dummies.
It's a legit problem when you look at the sum effect of all these local activists trying to "fix" local problems that should be waaaaaay down on the priority list. It pretty much paralyzed all grassroots activist groups for a good decade or so and let Trump run rampant most of his first term.
How else would you drive without getting in a wreck most days?
...what? Have you ever driven before? This behavior causes wrecks ALL THE TIME, it's probably the #1 cause of wrecks. It's definitely one of the most dangerous things a driver can do. Same applies to cyclists.
I'm not a chaser, please stop with that. It's one quote that was taken totally out of context.
