That's been happening a lot lately with kbin. I got a notification of a reply to one of my posts, except it was actually in a different thread that I never commented on

A dismissal or lack of consideration for the unique issues facing men and boys and the unique solutions they require. Focusing exclusively on women and girls. Viewing boys as defective girls.

In this thread, here's a few specific examples

It's passive because it's not direct and focused. It's more neglect than abuse. Men's problems are not just secondary; they're not even worth consideration, and men should just Fix It Themselves.

Schools in particular are extremely geared towards focusing on girls and their successful development.

No one just "grows up". You had a set of experiences that allowed you to think beyond the confines of what your parents taught you.

I really hope they open strong with a masterful Loki in this one. He's gone through the fire, he's had meaningful experiences, and he won, mostly at least. He's still incredibly talented, smart, and powerful. And most importantly now, he actually has a glorious purpose.

I don't want to see another underdog Loki, although they did that to perfection in season 1. I want to see Loki ruling the remnants of the TVA in a fight against Kang.

What would be a fair comparison? I've compared capitalism to the lack of a system, which leads to miserable poverty and short life spans. I've compared capitalism to other highly successful systems, which lead to even worse inequality and oppression.

There have been empires that didn't rely on capitalism and were successful.

The empires you reference were built on those two systems

Not that either is even feasible nowadays but I'll entertain it.

There are levels of anonymity. You can get private enough that only certain government agencies with well funded budgets and motivated agents can find you. That's waaaay beyond what 99% of people need.

When a company says "we care about your privacy" what they mean is "we want to keep all your data for ourselves"

Also there's a whole generation of people who never knew the early internet, when privacy was the default.
