I feel like the middle east is sort of just like, haunted, doomed to eternal conflict by malevolent specters.

(Yes, I know those specters are the military industrial complex, colonialism, ancient civilizations, authoritarian rule, oil and natural gas, sectarian divisions, Israel, religious extremeists oh god maybe it is haunted)

If only Trump's whitehouse could be so mind warpingly inefficient they don't get around to any of the fascism.

Wait am I just misunderstanding what the Tolerance Paradox is?

My read of the Tolerance Paradox is that it's Ok to punch Nazis because if you render yourself unwilling to participate in violence, there are others who will happily do it for (to) you.
