The only reason I actually wound up signing up on Lemmy is that there is one "main" instance by appearance, and it lets you participate in others(?). (Lemmy.world)

Wait am I just misunderstanding what the Tolerance Paradox is?
My read of the Tolerance Paradox is that it's Ok to punch Nazis because if you render yourself unwilling to participate in violence, there are others who will happily do it for (to) you.
There's a part of me that just hopes that it's all been a big smoke screen and that Trump doesn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of and he just gets fucking pancaked in the vote.
I'm not confident that this will happen though which is scary.
