Idk if it's medical or more psychological but the term for when your hear a word so many times it loses meaning is one of my favorite phrases in the English language.

Semantic satiation

That is a perfectly clear message for me actually.

It's about opposing genocide or not. "Do nothing knowing that will cause the genocide to continue" is close enough to "continue the genocide" for me.

"My bookie said giving him this months grocery budget was a great idea."

Was about to say the butter and egg one look great but that might just be cause I really like eggs and have had ones that looked like the too much egg and it was delicious.

Not at all makes it ideal for a bunch of different applications.

But seriously making the body pannels out of stainless steel and the frame out of aluminum would be a hilarious joke among 2nd year engineering students about what happens when you let the sales people make the specs.

Aluminum is the best metal in the world at being a plastic.

A few years ago I would immediatly leave if I saw a burger for more than $15 on a menu regardless of how many unnecessary toppings they had one it.

Now it costs more than that for a plain cheeseburger with a 6 Oz patty.

Idk how anybody is still eating out we can take the money we'd spend on a meal in a restaurant and cook something that's better quality and we have leftovers for 2 days. The only benefits off eating out are to get cheap slop you would feel bad about cooking for yourself.

I need to remind myself people here aren't as dumb (or dumber depending on how much you like the hardon joke) as you average internet user and maybe lower my defense a couple notches.

Also love to accuse the other person of trying to use "might makes right" arguments while actively trying to build a military alliance to surround Russia with nukes while calling them the aggressor.

I always wonder if these people realize they would be violently opposed to the civil rights movement I'd they were alive then.

Why because they're the only one not suggesting "Russia should abaondon their two year long successful military operataion because that's what I, a whiny American liberal, want."

This dude is unironically one of the most influential conservationalists of our lifetime.

They're super pretty fish that have really cool colors and a face that's so dumb it's cute.

One of the reasons I like Jeremy Wade (river monsters guy) was an early episode where he put a bunch of pirahnnas in a pool and stuck his feet in, then started walking around, then im pretty sure even put some blood in the water to disprove their "feeding frenzy" myth to show they were harmless.

They'll try to attack you if they're starving which is sonethingthey have in common with literally every other animal.
