  • Lol. Humans are just moving up on the stack. I'm sure some people were upset about how we wouldn't need electrical engineers anymore once digital circuits were invented. AI is a tool, without a trained user a tool is almost useless.

  • I never understood banning someone for one offense. No one wastes their time reading every rule on every sub before posting. And because reddit only actively promotes big subs it is really hard to create an alternative sub with better rules.

  • The argument is that small businesses need to be able to do this to stay competitive. But the same level of competition could be achieved by regulating big companies more instead of deregulating small companies.

  • Strikes are a good thing. They ensure the people doing the work also benefit from the work. In this case they are asking for bonuses for the extra work associated with the Olympics. With the amount of money that changes hands around the Olympics this is probably a small amount.

  • They bought a lot of the local radio stations where I live and now they all suck. I live in Philly and used to love 104.5, one of the things they were known for was no morning show, they just played music during peoples commute. Now it's the god awful iHeartRadio woody morning show.

  • I believe if a state and federal law contradict each other the federal law wins. But the state law does not have to be reversed, even though it is meaningless. It's pretty stupid but just means if the federal law is ever changed your state law is already in place. Now this law was written before Arizona was a member of the USA so I have no idea if unconstitutional laws had to be removed or not before joining the union. The supreme Court of Arizona pretty much said "this is what we think it is, but until there is a court case we don't know."
