I use Jerboa, but yes, the web client is indeed awesome.
Praises to Dessalines, Nutomic and also all the other devs.

I use the app because I routinely clear cache and cookies in the browser. Or sometimes use private tabs when I think the tab count will be too high.
With the app, the cache for it is separate from the browser and I can clear the browser cache and cookies with no issues.
The images are not downloaded each time and it's faster as my mobile net is 3G most of the time.
It's a reason why I use Infinity for reddit too.

I use a Chinese smartphone. And use GBoard on it.
I turn off the telemetry stuff too.

My concern was me enabling clipboard history maybe taken as consent to send it to some online server for sync/backup or later use.
Wanted to know what other people were doing about such risks.

I moved to Lemmy during the Reddit API stuff

Saw Lemmy mentioned but a lot of posts were painting it negatively, due to federation things and tankies.

The tankie stuff was what made me try lemmy out and stay.
Thought that it'd be an actually leftist community, if it was facing such terms.

If you're not dictating what others should eat, then I think there would be no issue. Goodness is in behaviour, right?

I'm in India. In Hinduism, some upper castes have vegetarianism. And also most people would need to have meat or fish to achieve a balanced diet and meet nutritional goals within reasonable costs.
We also have the issue of people suspected of eating cow meat being mob lynched to death in some North Indian states.

So, when I see moralistic stuff being talked about diets, I become wary about associated casteist/classist things behind it.

I've read that the average Western person eats a lot of meat compared to others, so not against the idea of better consumption to reduce wastage, but have seen some online discussions where people are talking about it from two contexts.
