  • Plan on, if possible, cloning my account to a new account on a new internal drive (preferably a 2TB+ drive) to save all my stuff that I want and don't feel like moving over due to laziness. Then on another partition, I plan on having the rest of the space being used for Linux. All I gotta do is make sure the win10 partition doesn't receive an ounce of Internet connectivity at all and pray I don't end up with a virus or something similar somehow (because even the safest internet practices aren't safe enough anymore).

Hopefully I can turn that partition into a cold partition where I can keep the current games I have that aren't downloaded through Steam installed to ensure I can still play them. Then I can slowly debloat it by uninstalling everything I don't need on there and get rid of a ton of files/unnecessary programs so that way I can still have roughly 500-600GB for win10 just in case I ever need it for anything, like a program I genuinely cannot figure out how to get working on Linux.

  • Considering every single other attempt to get Bytedance to sell it has failed, I'm sure this one will definitely work. /s

  • I can't wait for it to be a thing that only a small handful of actually good 3rd party titles use that feature and the rest are gonna be 1st party titles shoehorning it in to say "Look at our fancy new feature we swear nobody has ever done before! Trust me!".

  • Some of the only games I could think of are other lego games or something like the Scribblenauts series, for its puzzle solving that doesn't have a single solution and encourages creativity.

  • I mean, take away all but 1 white piece and give it a shotgun and you might have a fun rougelite on your hand.

  • Only reason I could ever see someone like him getting rid of nuclear weapons is so that it makes a Russian invasion easier than ever before. Hey, we lose all our nuclear arsenal and Russia could easily hold nuclear destruction over our heads if we don't willingly let them take over.

  • I think the last 3 games I've been playing were Mindustry (docked because otherwise that game would be a nightmare for me to set up controls for), Gemcraft Frostborn Wrath, and Pokemon Rejuvenation (they're pretty much the only fan game I know of that has a native Linux port and I absolutely LOVE the devs for that).

  • Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs

Not the best picture, but it's good enough.

  • I feel like having Wallace in A Grand Day Out always having similar style of movement as the scene where he's hammering something would make the already somewhat trippy, in my opinion, short film feel more like a horror movie. The way he just stands perfectly still and doesn't react while his arm flails back and forth with the hammer in his hand just feels menacing in a way that would make the rest of the movie more horrifying, in my opinion, if all his movements were like that.

  • I'd still like to believe they did that design as a marketing stunt to get people talking about it, but I also have a lot of doubt they would have been smart enough to actually come up with something like that..

  • I thought I heard rumblings on Xitter about Sega putting out a post showing Sonic Unleashed recently due to the Unleashed Recompilation project recently released, but I can't confirm because I refuse to go there.I wasn't able to find any posts about it on their BlueSky Sega West account, so I have no idea whether it's true or not.

If it is true they might be thinking about making an official PC port, I might just hold off on starting over in the unofficial PC port and just stick with my save on xbox360... at least until news comes out that they're going to somehow have ruined it due to evil DRM and some sort of microtransaction shop that allows you to play as Sonic, but get this! With green shoes instead of red! That, and the price being a full $60-70, if not $100 dollar game for a decade plus old game, with the caveat that the Recompilation project be shut down because it hurts their profits.

  • There was a small amount of thought put into it, but my official refurbished Steam Deck. Fairly impulsive of me to have gotten it. Love it.

Also, if you look at the majority of the stuffed animals in my room besides a couple, they're kinda impulse buys and a couple of them have been amazing because I can just cuddle with them while watching videos on my phone in bed or hug them when I'm excited or stressed or bored or whatever I'm feeling. They make for great companions for me.

  • I would absolutely love to commandeer the cartoon title "Animaniacs" as a word to refer to people, such as myself, who love cartoons/anime/animated content over live action anything.

  • I was busy thinking about that. Why not make a replicator without limits if possible? No downsides because then you'd be able to create what you want when you want. Anyone dumb enough not to think of that would be stuck using it once a day while you are able to create all you want.

  • Well, it's only gonna be a matter of time before they remove this. I can almost guarantee that.

  • Until my laptop dies or cannot support it, I'm sticking with KDE Plasma. Love how MX configured it (because I'm lazy) and absolutely will keep using it for as long as my laptop survived or can hold it.

Might try other ones in VMs (like ratpoison) in the future for other machines I might set up in the future, but for now KDE Plasma is my go-to that I'll probably be using for a long time.

  • Would love to try them if my phone, which was bought outright from Samsung themselves, allowed me to unlock the bootloader to allow me to try it. Might, if possible, try at least one of them on an old S10, if I can get the bootloader unlocked.

  • I totally wish I could install an actual Linux based (I don't consider android Linux) distro on my current phone and also be able to install something like Waydroid with some sort of sandbox for it. Though I'm pretty sure my budget Samsung would fry itself if I tried doing that considering I can't even unlock the bootloader without it freezing up indefinitely.
