Biden and his administration don't have anything to do with what's happening on the ground in Gaza, but In my view the US politics for decades have something to do with how it's become. If they where harder on Israel we might have had a different situation. That is not to say I agree with what this guy said. It's completely nonsense.

There are much better ways to stay in touch with others. For example, friend or family discord communities is a far superior way when compared to any Meta platform.

It's become so much worse.. I really hate it. Funny thing. It actually tried to make me watch republican bs. It showed me some really extreme far right shit and I was like.. OK where do you think I am politically...? It sucks because people that are not aware might actually fall for that crap.

I did and kudos to him and his team for makikg the world a tiny better. But unfortunately it also had its negative sides to it.. But he and his team can't be blamed for what some assholes use his services for.
I've used it a few times when I was bored and had some random conversations about different topics. I didn't really like the format to be completely honest. I'd rather use reddit and other platform's like these.
While this is not for me it sucks that people that abuse these services are a big part of why they are shutting down. It sounds to me like they where actively in contact with law enforcement to battle crimes that where commited there and kudos for that!
I remember watching the Netflix series about him. I was shocked because I actually agreed with a lot of what he had to say about the society we're living in right now. We're at the brink of AI being a force that is no longer controllable. We're seeing deepfakes and other shit that will ruin peoples life. And we're moving towards a society where everything can be replaced with code.
I myself have grown up to these changes and it's insane how much our world has changed over the last 30 years. It's shocking.
