I joined after the shitstorm that Reddit made the community go trough. It's a worse website now because of the changes to the API where they now take money for using it. They now have to charge the user for using their apps. Basically making it easy for me to stop using reddit entirely.
Tip for you guys that still want to use an app but don't know about it: geddit is a free app that scrape RSS to let you browse reddit. I've used it more and more to get used to it. It's pretty good but since it doesn't use rhe API you can't comment or bookmark stuff. You can however watch NSFW stuff but it doesn't work that well compared to how Relay for instance did it back when apps where allowed to show NSFW content..
There is nothing wrong with coalitions. But a coalition of 7 parties? It's going to break any day. There is nothing wrong with having coalition but unstable ones are not beneficial. They can end up having elections again and again to get a goverment to begin with. That's why my example with Osreal is relevant. They did it there as well and it did work.
It's really annoying that it's down but I've found another instance to use when I'm not able to use this one. I hope you're able to stop these losers at some point. It's very frustrating what's happening but at the same time Lemmy is young and I think and hope it will be optimised so that it won't be a issue in the future.
Stay strong fellow lemmies, we're going to get trough this. For those of you that is very annoyed now: make a new account at some other instance. I've already got 3 accounts across 3 different instances already. Check what instance to join here: https://join-lemmy.org/instances
It's a shame Marvel and studios alike them are pushing the deadline for production of these movies. I think I heard that these VFX artists gets weeks to finish the job they get. So they have to work 60 - 80 hours a week. That is truly terrifying.
