It just, iirc, 3x'd the horses base health.

I am still salty about that shit to this day, because its what lead us to the miseryscape of nickle and dimed bullshit we have today.

I've had zero problems with linux working with any hardware I have.

But thats mostly because I selected hardware from companies known to have good linux compatability. like AMD, and TPlink

Mostly because I'd love to see discord go under and to have tech support and interaction go back to websites and forums, where they are indexed, searchable, and archivable so information can be easily searched for again, and not lost forever should a discord go under.

Bathroom fixture manufacturers created a massive marketing/propaganda campaign around the idea of Hygiene, and the idea that its better for your health and safety, simply because they wanted to sell more fixtures..and the way to do that was to get more houses built with indoor plumbing facilities, because in the era before this.. a solid chunk of the population still used outhouses, and bathed in portable tubs they filled with water heated up one pot at a time on a stove once every few weeks.. if that. and because filling the tub was so much work, the whole family washed in it, without changing the water.. usually the husband first, then the mother, then the kids in order of age got to bath in the bouillabaisse of mom and dads filth.

You'd be gobsmacked how many things like that are the result of marketing.

Milk being essential for bone health? Another marketing gimmick, from the dairy industry.

Diamonds are essential for proposals/weddings? Another marketing gimmick, from the diamond cartels.

Installs it to the games proton prefix, and it launches automatically upon launching the game from steam. and the nxm links work perfectly in it.

Only downside is you have to install it for each game you want to mod, since they install into that games prefix. but thats a miniscule issue for how easy it makes modding, no CP2077 support or anything though. Mo2 only supports bethesda games.

Lutris and GoG is great.

You can log right into your GoG account via lutris and have immediate, in lutris, access to all the games you own to download/install and play.

I have a family member whose fridge looks like this.

in the 90s parents wanted to offload parenting onto teachers and babysitters.

aughts parents wanted to offload parenting onto computers and video games.

now parents want to offload parenting onto cellphones and tablets. Cant tell you how many kids, even super young kids, I see with their faces absolutely glued to a cellphone or tablet. Even in my own family. Kids as young as 5 had their own smart phones, with completely unsupervised use.

and the one common thread in all of that, is how the parents never take responsibility for the damage their unparented, unsupervised children do or suffer.

Its always everyone elses fault. Its never mommy and daddy, who cant be bothered to give little Timmy even 5 minutes of their day, who is at fault.

I just don't understand why people have or keep their kids if they hate them and don't want to be bothered by them. It'd be less traumatic for a child to be given up for adoption and end up with a loving family, than to be raised by these types of people.

Reminded of that story of the mother who sent her (adult) son nudes to spread around his workplace and advertise her onlyfans for her.

Guy may have been an asshole, May not. We don't know why he poked her with it. I've been in plenty of nursing homes where I've seen staff that deserved to be hit in the stomach with a sharp and pointy knife due to how they denigrate and disrespect the residents.

Regardless, it does not entitle him to being brutalized by cops with fucking bludgeons, tasers, and chemical weapons.
