It reminds of the one panel comic strip where it says "Liberal Utopia" and it has all these great things in it (Abortion centers, universal Healthcare, gay marriage, and other good stuff) but the comic is supposed to more "Look at these horrible things!"
Some kids just are demented; not all kids, just some.
It's kinda like that old "trick" of burning ants under a magnifying glass in the hot sun? At the time it made you feel powerful, but as you get older you reflect and realize how fucked up it was?
It's just that taken to the extreme (just a guess at least)
One party wants to tear down our democracy via Project 2025, imprison political rivals, remove voting rights, remove women's right to choose and give big buisness more tax cuts.
The other wants to restore women's rights, term limits, hold the Supreme Court responsible to it's "ethics" codes, student loan relief, ggun control and restore voting rights.
The second party isn't perfect but to brush them off is dangerously stupid.
As someone who worked in a union I can vouch for this ^
Most of the guys I worked with don't even like the union they are in, they felt they were cheated into giving their money away for "no backup"
When in reality these guys would have lost their jobs YEARS AGO but because the union defends them against management, but because these guys can't do what ever the hell they want (ie call in 80 out of 90 days, taking 1 hour breaks, having todo what their job description says) they just don't care...
They also think "They'll never out source our jobs, or robots can't replace us!" When in fact management DID do that years ago but the Union won in deliberations and everyone seems to have forgotten.
Basicly scientists from around the world take into account the enviroment, wars, nuclear armaments, and world politics crunch some numbers and guesstimate how close we are to end of the world at any given moment.
So as of right now at any given moment we are potentially 90 seconds away from us obliterating ourself ( doesn't always have to be nukes, could be an environmental catastrophe)
Listen to Iron Maiden's "2 Minutes to Midnight" to get an idea

I love what the fascists don't like lol
