What's the point of you can't interact?

No it doesn't. Different licenses dictate what you can and can't do with open source software. Some are more restrictive than others. Open source simply means that the source code is freely available.

Yeah you can probably do periodic merge or rebase etc. But then you have the fun of merge conflicts

The thing with hype trains is you get aboard or get left behind. Maybe they hype leads to a ghost town destination, but as a massive business you'd rather be on the train than not.

Same think with Jews and Judaism

It's thin air and racism. To argue other than that is ignorance and racism. Attacking innocent people no matter what you think a select few from their community do is racism.

Except now you have to maintain a branch that's missing everything after that release upstream.

So is Android. So is Chromium. So is React, and Flutter. So is Java.

Open source doesn't mean FOSS.

The payment provider my local council uses doesn't work on Firefox, or Safari. I have to use shitty chrome on my phone. I refuse to install it on my computer.

It's the same with images, soon all our photos won't be real captured moments, but AIs interpretation of those moments edited by the AI to make them "perfect"

Windows is just a loss leader to sell your data and other products at the point.

Yeah hard to say because I have played the game. But I'm not particularly passionate about it. I just felt like the show was a bit meh and forgettable personally.

I preferred Fallout to the last of us to be honest. The show wasn't a 1-1 copy of any particular games but the core feeling was spot on.
