  • Trump should be fired... out of cannon into the sun.

But this is the most rational thing he's typed. He's proposing an idea which directly supports big businesses by reducing taxes. Ergo, if you run a business and you choose to give more money to the government (in taxes, by voting for Biden), you're not doing your job properly. And he's not entirely wrong. Sure, it's short sighted hyperbole, but it's the sanest line of reasoning I've ever seen him put out.

Again, Trump bad. Voting for Trump bad. This thing he said bad. This thing he said not tyrannical or a raving, just logical in corporate America.

  • what's crazy is how bad those other trucks are - their batteries are huge, for barely any more range than the cybertruck. I think one of them is double the kw/km or whatever that the CT uses. I mean, the CT is hot garbage, but it's amazing that it's the least hot garbage of its class. (on paper.)

  • My question is: why not try it? I mean, I know of people who don't like to travel outside their town because why bother? But the world is a big interesting place with all sorts of new experiences. Why wouldn't you want to try new and different foods? Would you try a new fruit you hadn't had access to before?

re: energy/etc: this is an issue everywhere, and it's all slowly changing. Farming is still done with big gas guzzling, smoke bellowing machines, for example. (I've seen Secret of NIMH).

  • Thailand has been so weird the last couple of years.

Super-pro tourism and foreign investment (ie. Russians pouring in in tens of thousands).

Legalising weed (more dispensaries than 7-11s or Starbucks combined).

    Now reversing that?

    Now legalising same sex marriage.

it's like they're opening up in an ultra-capitalist way. "What is the most left way to make money?"

This is a very cynical POV, and is not accurate. But it looks that way. It's only an issue as these movements make the country vulnerable to economic exploitation.

To clarify what this has in common: there's a LOT of money to be made in weddings, and they've just made the country even more of a wedding tourism destination. (on top of domestic wedding spending)

All that said, for this topic specifically: good for them. this is fantastic news.

  • this comment is entirely correct, due to the use of quotes. The far left isn't telling you not to vote. The "far left" is. Those saying that are not left. Those comments are the output of the right.

Voter suppression is their game. status quo at worst. third reich at best.

  • it absolutely is not easily scammed at all.

every single piece of paper is numbered and tracked. (tickets and stubbs, basically). all counting is done by multiple people and watched by anyone who wants. political parties are banned from voting premises.

even better: early voting, in person, up to a week or two before. no crowds.

errors happen about 1 in 1,000,000 with a maximum of a couple hundred, and are caught immediately.

there is no scamming. all of the USA's voting problems are self-created.
