  • It's this. When boards and non-tech savvy managers start making decisions based on a slick slide deck and a few visuals, enough will bite that people will be laid off. It's already happening.

There may be a reckoning after, but wall street likes it when you cut too deep and then bounce back to the "right" (lower) headcount. Even if you've broken the company and they just don't see the glide path.

It's gonna happen. I hope it's rare. I'd argue it's already happening, but I doubt enough people see it underpinning recent lay offs (yet).

  • I won't relax until November. Maybe even January.

Polls, votes... What matters is who's in office and if they have legitimacy. Winning in a national poll feels good. The swing states are the ones that matter and the dumbass is very willing to try everything to swing it to Trump.

  • "If they didn't want to be pregnant, they should have remained chaste."

    "Husbands have certain rights."

    "Life begins at conception."

    "FAMILY VALUES!!"

    "Pro-Trump"

I got no idea y'all. I don't know that they see the inconsistencies at all.

Also: Numbers 5:11-31. If you haven't read it and you live in a place that people want to turn into a Christian theocracy... It takes less than 5 minutes. Give it a read.

    Edit: spelling.

  • Cleaning fees are just overhead on staying now. But if you don't tidy your rating will take a hit.

It's a scam coming and going. But it's often cheaper and with more selection on location. The last two, I think, are really what keeps them around.
