That ai search seems like a good feature - I never could find anything on reddit.
I even have some sympathy for them not wanting our freely given content to be freely given to others … no I don’t, and it’s a shame they couldn’t have handled that differently. Too little too late
Not enough info. Why have they never used it? If they don’t feel like enforcing consumer protections, they should be replaced. But if price gouging isn’t happening or the law is poorly defined, I have more sympathy for repealing a law that isn’t being g used
I’ve been meaning to try this - I’ve found it in stores a couple times now, but it just sits on my shelf. I imagine there’s an expiration and it’s long past
It may have. Certainly one of the many problems with hersheys s how old it can be. It seems to be treated as something that can sit on the shelf forever
Reese’s is one of my favorites too, but objectively it’s horrible, down there with hersheys chocolate. They successfully made it addictive, rather than taste like peanut butter or chocolate. Try something like a Trader Joe’s peanut butter cup and it’s a world of difference.
It won’t keep me from my Reese’s but at least I’m aware of it
Hersheys used to be our only choice. However now that we have better choices, many of us are waking up to chocolate as a good thing (other than the sugar rush). It can be hard to get over the price and quantity difference though.
I’m sure he means evil, but wearables really can be a boon to health. His agency really needs to be more proactive with establishing privacy protections and certifying accuracy’s/correctness, to make this really take off.
Then how would we know whether Big Balls is the child somehow given authority over our public institutions, or big balls is a wellness initiative offering yoga balls
Canada will be stretched just keeping fighting out of its borders.
Canada just needs to send one guy over to say “you should be our eleventh province” and most of New England will say “yes please, I’m sick of whatever shit the regressives are doing now”
The timber part is no big deal - it’s all farmed trees and sawmill waste product. The water and energy use to make them, store them, ship them is more significant.
That’s how I got dozens of reusable plastic bags at 10¢ each. Eventually I started remembering to bring them into the store. Now it’s a good habit, so I’m ready for cloth bags ….. no hurry, might as well reuse these a bunch more
Even when I had a phone with audio output, I almost never connected more than one wire. The only likely use case is charging and listening at the same time, but there’s already a lot going wrong if that has to happen…
Maybe a better approach is to find out what seems attractive in that type of life. You may be able to find it still somewhat near what you’re used to. Massachusetts still has plenty of small towns, lower cost areas, and rural areas, as do the rest of New England. But you’ll still be near whatever friends and family, medical care, transportation, be able to go into Boston if you want, progressive politics, etc
Worst case scenario, the Adirondacks have plenty of cheap low priced places to live. It’s remote but not that remote nor that as jarring a change
I mean yeah, I didn’t claim this action was morally or even strategically acceptable, just that it seems consistent with the way past administrations have used the same power.
