Having been a motorcyclist in NYC this is true. They will try to hit you to keep you from doing something they can't. I can't imagine how much worse it must be for cyclists.

It's just common sense that there are two classes of people in the world. Those the law protects but does not bind, and those the law binds but does not protect.

I agree with most of what you said, especially the multiplayer part. I had a switch almost exclusively to play Mario kart with friends. It's just a much simpler experience on the switch especially with the controllers I prefer to use. The one thing I still disagree on is sharing games. You can share steam games, even triple A titles with friends and family. It's not a easy as just handing them a cart, but how many people still buy physical games anymore with how easy digital distribution is. I know I do, because I'm old. I'm glad I did too since that gave me the ability to give my copy of Mario kart to one of my nieces and my switch to another.

I agree. Carbon capture is not the solution, no one thing is, but it should be one of the many things we use to work toward a solution.

One of the nuke plants I work at put in a hydrogen electrolyzer two years ago for this reason, and they are doubling it's size next year because it worked so well. Their "problem" is different than solar. Nukes constantly put it the same amount of power, so they feed the excess into the electrolyzer when demand is low, but it's basically the same idea. Electrolysis id inefficient, but if you're producing more energy than you can feed into the grid you may as well do something useful with it.

Putting aside the jury still being out in the last part of that statement, Sam Altman has showed himself to not only be an asshole, but an asshole who will do anything he thinks he can get away with. So the statement you took issue with "but if OpenAI didn't do anything wrong, why would it take down the voice" is accurate. Considering the pattern of behavior from Altman and OpenAI that action is a rather implicit admission of guilt.

Same for me except my number genders are different. 1,3,5,6,9 are male and 2,4,7,8 are female. 0 is still nb. I'd have to really think about the letters since they are more nuanced. Numbers definitely have hard gender though.

Nitrogen dissolves poorly, but enough of it remains to cause the different density that allows a black and tan to float, or this abomination. You say you homebrew, but aren't even willing to look up this information and argue with internet strangers about it.
