I also enjoyed my playthrough of the game, and am looking forward to what Bethesda does. I've gotten my money's worth, but I'm hoping they manage to do much more with the game than what's currently available (but it's fine if they don't as well).
I also think that a lot of the criticisms are completely valid -- Personally the missions and story were enjoyable enough for me, and the systems were neat to explore, but 8 years on from FO4, and a generation later and the game still suffers from the same engine limitations, further exacerbated by the scope they decided to reach for.
I'm playing through MGS2 right now for pretty much the first time (I did try it on Xbox, but didn't make it past the first boss encounter with Olga). I played through MGS the last few weeks, and it's always interesting to me to see a series develop over generations.
I have been playing some Crysis 3 as well since I never finished it. It's enjoyable enough, and I love the nature-taken metropolis setting (also loved it in Crysis 2, and in TLoU 1+2).
Ground Branch is another one that I've been firing up regularly to play a round of Terrorist Hunt. There is a beta out right now with new AI mechanics, which is breathing some new life into it. I backed the game years ago (2017), and watching the development has been fun (if a bit slow).
Last one for me is Enshrouded -- I'm less than 2hrs into it and still deciding if I'll keep it. I'm itching for a new survival game, and so I'm hoping to try the Nightingale playtest this weekend, and then decide which one to commit to.
From what I've read, parts of it were repurposed into COD:Ghosts, which released following (and is generally considered to be one of the worst main enteries in the series).
As someone with a Garmin Instinct Solar, the unlimited battery is really dependent on your habits. You really need to be exposed to the sun for long periods on a daily basis for it to noticeably charge via solar. Still though the idea of a watch that you never need to charge is really neat.
I was doing that a lot over the holidays, and decided to do a dry January. It is doing wonders for my gaming nights. You could try it next month (shortest one of the year, so a little less commitment).
Not sure all of its coming, but this is what was exclusive in release:
In-game Hogsmeade Shop
Exclusive “Haunted Hogsmeade Shop” quest
An additional Dungeon
The shopkeepers Cosmetic Set
The Felix Felicis Potion Recipe (PlayStation pre-order exclusive)
I played through MGS last weekend for the first time. Its really amazing how much consistency and quality has been in his story telling. I would agree it's not for everyone, but it is definitely respectable and something worth experiencing if you can try it out on Gamepass or at a friend's, if you think it's not for you
Is there a phone manufacturer that doesn't use their devices to shove more ads in your face? Google pushing Google One or Apple's preinstallwd watch app also come to mind
I have a Wilfa Svelte grinder, and it's done a nice job for the last year. I think it's a step down from the Barista, but I would still recommend considering it
I believe most or all of these were also in the GeForce Now leak years ago, so it's pretty old news that they're coming, but coming this year is another story.
