I feel like what you described should be a big fat warning on the nextcloud page
OP is a lot more gracious than most internet users by accepting some responsibility. But i wouldnt blame them. I might have done the same, and i've been self hosting nextcloud for 8 years now.
everything is possible in excel... someone wrote a DOOM clone in excel.
I once worked at a company where someone hacked together a PO generating tool in excel 10 years prior and it just kind of stuck around even though the company grew into a billion dollar market cap public company
Calling parents who can afford to help their kids out as the new "aristocrat" class is a bit of a stretch.
I got a huge help with my down payment from my parents. But they are by no means "landed" wealthy class people. Years later they barely had enough to retire and i'm trying to help them where i can.
Dont let the 0.1% distract you by shifting blame to other working class people. Yes, people who got big help from their parents, but we're not old money.
Because immigrant doctors driving cabs has been a meme for as long as i've been alive and we didnt do anything about it until the system is on the verge of collapse

At the same time, i'm getting higher quality food from elsewhere
I count myself very lucky to have the resources to escape the clutches of the westons (and metro/empire). I realize many dont have the means to do the same and we need to do better to give everyone more options

Whatever "AI" LLM nonsense tech bros are trying to add in to everything in the last 2 years is probably not all that helpful, but i could be proven wrong
I hate being in a time zone where in winter, the sun comes 7:00 and sets at 16:00..
Most of us have 9-5 jobs. I'd rather have the sun up around 8 and still have some tiny sliver of light when i leave the office
