I already had a Plex server so I just rolled.my.own music server.

And then with the emergence of plexamp... I don't need a streaming music service now.

This place is so much better. Quality content has been coming up recently and the interaction with the user base has been positive.

Heck I started a package manager "fight" in a Linux thread the other day and it all remained positive. I'm glad I made the swap over to lemmy.

I had gig up / gig down fiber at a previous house.. it was amazing.. never went down always has bandwidth no matter what I was doing or who was streaming. I (used to) do a lot of uploading to users for media and I never had a hiccup.

Get it.. and get the fastest you can afford. You'll love it.

Also no they won't be paying attention anymore than a standard isp. Tho.. if you're.worried about it.. just get a decent VPN.

Man this is so true.. my manager HATES it when I'm not in office. Granted she doesn't interact with me and I'm not a mission critical person... But every other Wednesday is in office day.. and if she happens to stroll by and I'm not in.. I hear about it.

How does mapcrafter run for you now? I'm hosting a vanilla server and that's exactly what I need to see our map. I'm just concerned that it doesn't function properly now due to recent updates.
