  • Same for using an "almost non-changing" standard, i.e. either ISO or RFC. And write a script to update the data or tables if something wrong changes (like Russia disappearing because it has been invaded by Belgium), you never know what might happen politically.

  • I got one a few months ago. I guess the updates will stay for the next 5/7 years (shitty guess) as long as GrapheneOS stays on Android 15, but my next phone will not be a Pixel if Google does shit like that.

    Google just lost themselves 900€

    I bought a cheap Pixel 8a, no need to pay the full price unless you need big emulators.

  • No replaceable battery but any cheap Pixel with GrapheneOS. It's secure, no Google by default, has the most standard UI possible, and Android Auto works great. This combo is the iPhone of Android IMHO. Some applications may not work for some reason but I haven't met those yet.
