That is what any other sane country would do on their own. But with 2/3 of the population supporting the regime they don’t resist and instead support them. If another country has to step in then that country has a moral duty to protect the lives of its citizens.
You really are putting a lot of effort into your mental gymnastics. the troops are in international waters not in syria, or maybe you need to work on your reading comprehension skills . Similarly there were no us troops in yemen when they intercepted the misiles they launched at israel.
I think it’s the opposite. This paves the way to enforce companies to pay to remove the carbon they emit. If this can be profitable then there is room to invest on improvements making it more feasible at large scale.
Yes. Removing the ability to self defense of the jewish people is not anti semitism. It’s similar to saying that wanting to make someone weak and easy to abuse is not the same as actually wanting to do those things.
It’s called the right to defend yourself. They have been attacked at least 41 times since they arrived to the region and are giving what they consider a proportional response to stop further attacks
This is clearly explained in the summary… but I guess that it's difficult to understand for tankies.
I am sure that they have all sorts of people and some of them were always this way but I suspect they were radicalized with the terrorist attacks. I mean at a personal level if someone kills your family you’d probably don’t care about nuances or context. It just happens that they have more means to carry out their “vengeance”.
I consider Hamas as the enemy of israel. And i am not sure if I consider hamas an enemy of palestine but they are certainly bad for the ones that are not in favor of a war of extermination.
I understand that palestinians even had a civil war because too many of them were against peace even after they lost the war. I suppose israel had concerns of escalation and didn’t join the war in favor of those who wanted coexistence.
So ideally palestinians should be “telling on” hamas to israel.
Hamas is the enemy in general.
This has been developing for longer than recent history. I sort of agree that israel should have continued one of the last 2-3 wars until the fundamentalist extremists surrendered or were killed. Instead of giving land back and attempting to serk peace. I think it was a mistake to try 5-6 times. after 2 or 3 it’s clear the enemy doesn’t want anything less than a war of extermination so they should give them that.
They could have abandoned their goal and seek coexistence. But using your logic ask yourself what choice does israel have as a response to an enemy like hamas?
I don’t take anyone calling the descendants of israelites as “settlers” seriously. This is their ancestral home. It doesn’t matter if you reject reality and substitute with your own. There is so much evidence that it’s really imposible to deny it and be taken seriously.
So when a soldier takes the initiative to do something horrible it’s all of israel that it’s at fault. But we need to be very careful about distinguishing between hamas terrorists and palestinians. Don’t you think that seems inconsistent?
