We can dream of a timeline where SpaceX and Tesla decide to put Elon himself into the next Roadster they fire into space.

I remembered Boost from the good old days a while back and am using it alongside voyager. It's not as great as I remembered, so I'll probably stick with Voyager. My home network keeps me safe of ads though 😉

Seems like "drain the swamp" turned into "put the swamp monster in charge, give it steroids and flood the forest"

Consider this: When kid A breaks an action figure of kid B and kid B then pulls the hair of kid A you still make kid A apologize first as they started it.

If however kid B proceeds to gang up on kid A, stab them, pee on them while they're lying in the ground bleeding and then start running off with a gas can and lighter promising to burn kid As house down, ... Well, then you fucking stop kid B and call child protection services to get that kid some serious help.

I know this might not be a perfect metaphor, but I'm so tired of pretending Israel is purely a victim defending themselves. They've gone past retribution a long time ago.

In Germany when there's construction work done in a city they love to put up signs "cyclists step off your bike" while they create a temporary path for cars. Fuck no! Why would lazy turds in their pollution metal boxes have more right to use the street than me? I'll only hop off and push my bike if car drivers do the same.

I would love that! Deleting my Facebook account would cripple my social life and ability to keep up with events in the community. It's the only thing keeping me in. Giving everyone a reason to find other places to organize would be amazing!

Can it so casting? My YT consumption isn't as high as for many people it seems but when I'm not at a computer I'm very likely to find something on the phone and make the TV play it. Then I'm reminded how bad the ads are and avoid it again for a while

I studied abroad while the Two and a half Men season with Ashton Kutcher aired. A guy at a pizza place always wanted to chat but he barely spoke any English and somehow he really wanted to tell me that I look like Ashton Kutcher. Had similar length beard and hair at the time. A few days after that I signed up on Reddit.

This sounds neat. But we’ve used protractor with Gherkin years ago. Even at my current job we use BDD a lot. What’s new here? The comparison table is honestly very Apple-like: just pick something you know you’ll beat and dumb the comparison down a lot to leave little room for fact-checking.

I’m not saying this is bad software. I’m saying it’s not being sold well to someone that has been in this space for a while. It seems to mainly sell to people that have never heard of Gherkin/Cucumber before.
