Nah, you can justify the downvotes however you want, this subreddit is a failure.

A pinnacle of how flawed the American government is, 39 years in our government thus far. 2 senators per state with no term limits and I still hear people argue that the senate serves a good purpose.

Actual unpopular opinions get downvoted on Unpopular Opinion. The upvote/downvote system is the only way to actually gauge it. 🤡

Bernie is right about why people vote for Trump, he's wrong that it will be the end of democracy. America has never had a democracy, it's had an electoral college with gerrymandering and 2 senators per state.

She has actual courage. Just simply doing what you're told without question makes you as weak as the rest.

The disenfranchisement of American citizens started a long time ago, even well before Trump was still registered as a Democrat.

It would be pretty funny if Trump wins without the popular vote again though.
