  • Totally fine, work is work, you decide what you want to do with your life and if that fills the gap more power to you.

We need more regulation though, like Amsterdam where if you're working you have to get weekly check ups, and psychological counseling should be freely available.

Sex work is a good industry but it also harbors trafficking which needs to be cracked down on hard.

  • Per both 2018 and 2021 UK and US statistic reports, the UK has more than double the amount of knife/cutting instruments than the US per capita, so let's just ftfy.

I'm not disagreeing, you are correct, guns are indiscriminate, blades are confrontational. But to reiterate from my previous point, it doesn't matter WHAT weapon, people will still kill people. Ban guns? Stab em with a knife. Ban knives? Baseball bat. Ban blunt weapons? Sock full of nickles.

If somebody wants someone else dead, they're gonna find a way. People are all sorts of fucked up.

  • And here we see the "guns don't kill people, people kill people" side of the argument. Sure you take away the gun related deaths, but are stabbings any better?

Either way, I hope the perp gets the chair. Unless they don't have the death sentence in the UK, then ship him to Texas, we'll cook him to a pile of ash.

  • We need an Olympic sport that's just track hurdles but replaced with scattered furniture arrangements, and the competitors need to weave through without banging a shin on a coffee table.

  • Coming from a still right leaning moderate, that conference was not only a waste of time, but the Israeli PM just straight up lied and told pandering stories about the few Israeli hostage incidents.

He even shamed the Hamas for using the Palestinians as human shields, when we literally have photo and video evidence of the IDF straight up tying Palestinians to the hood of their cars to deter rockets.

    Love Jews, Hate Isreal.

  • People like to imagine "capitalism" as some machine entity that we can disassemble.

    It's people.

People who either inherited or earned too much money through various means, nefarious or otherwise. They in turn have enough money to buy other people's decisions who are in a place to make these laws but also want more money themselves so they in turn can do the same.

The only way to change capitalism is a full system reset, and to enable restrictions on net worth. Every single position from president all the way down to the smallest assistant needs a full re-roll, no exceptions.

  • A hypothetical version of myself may have worked in an International Airport as a security lead. That hypothetical version would have to pass through general passenger TSA and Border checkpoint dozens of times a day. They also may have always been carrying dab pens on him and his coworkers might have on several occasions just carried handguns through that they might have forgotten on their persons.

Yeah Airports are to security as Ant traps are to an exterminator. Lotta smoke and mirrors. Most cameras are non functioning or just straight up not wired in the first place.

  • If you're careful enough like myself to cheat billions of dollars and XP in to skip the pay to win grind without getting detected it can be a fun time killer. The Map is much more developed than the story mode, and the buisnesses/ heists are a blast.

People hate on GTA online, but it's really because it's all grindy to experience it all without feeling forced to buy shark cards. If you have infinite money then it essentially is another GTAs worth of impressive content. The vehicles alone have hours worth of customization.
