  • Ive had no issues, nvidias just better when it comes to actual software support, like for blender, amd works mostly fine for me on cachyos, hip rt crashes blender tho. All of my steam games run fine. I did have to reinstall my os after messing stuff up setting up qemu, attaching my gpu as a device did not go correctly and when I removed qemu through the terminal (black screen) it stayed stuck on my integrated gpu and couldn't recognize the seperate one anymoere. Only issue ive really had, wont try to set up a windows virtual desktop again.

  • I dont like that they imply lemmy would die without them like mbin and piefed dont exist? And they are running off activityhub, not like the core is lemmy? Correct me if im wrong, but if they stopped developing wed prob have a short period before apps switched to supporting mbin/piefed or others popped up? Guess the hard parts migrating all existing communites/instances.

  • most devs are garbage, ppl just have their views hiddes as facelss corporate cogs typicallycmost ppl in general tbh, just talking to drunk strangers will make you hate most ppl, they do more for me than you, they gave me this platform, they let me bitch and see your bitching lol

  • forsure you have lemmy now, youll actually recognize and see names pop up again and again here, higher chance of making actual connections on this site I rarely if ever talked to the same person twice outside of one thread on reddit, it happens a lot here

  • its gonna suck for like a month but eventually youll realize you're better off without it, like reddit 7 years ago was what I liked., lemmy is closer to that, digg has a better chance of being what reddit used to be lol

  • In regards to komga, it wouldnt show up in logs becuase it wasnt an error, got a reply on discord, and I needed to add a custom config, took 2 minutes, didn't know that was the issue since I'd never done it before. Looked in the docker compose and whoever set up the app did it wrong and didn't mount the media volume like every other apps docker compose did. (you are supposed to for runtipi apps)

  • I dont want to fill them out every time when testing 50 different apps? Im pretty sure I mention its for trying stuff out in the post, my bad if I didnt, it takes literally 5 minutes to install 10 apps and try them out lol
