What are the solutions to #4? Had that problem this year. Something killed about a 1/4 of my tomato and pepper starts because they were still really small when it was time to plant them outdoors (guessing snails or cutworms; I have a lot of both).
I think part of the problem is that new cars are bought mostly by fairly well-off individuals; with other people buying used cars. Economy cars sell poorly in the U.S.
Sorry, I was unclear. Chippers are not the tools I was thinking of that would be cheaper to buy (a low quality version of) than rent. Was thinking more about stuff like torque wrenches and rotary hammers. Chipper rental prices were just one thing I was looking at recently that seemed way out of line with what other people from other regions were paying.
I liked Otherside (the Ryan Lewis remix version) back in the day. Vipassana (remixed version) and Wings were also pretty good. A lot of his stuff is a bit cheesy. I think this track is ok (seems a bit rushed out and flawed). I disagree with the strategy of not voting for Biden in the presidential election though. I think he's a sincere dude that just likes making tracks about his political beliefs, and possibly to "educate" his listeners with some songs.
Rentals seem extremely expensive in my area. $100/day for a shitty 4" wood chipper, $300/day for 6" chipper. For some tools, it's often about the same price or cheaper to buy a tool from Harbor Freight than to rent.
I've been in cells without toilets or water. They're designed for temporary holding (an hour or so), for things like waiting on transportation or intake, for example.
Meh, evangelical Christians are also very pro-Israel, and give tons of money to pro-Israel groups. Some of the more hawkish strategists are pro-Isreal for military and geopolitical reasons.
These protests are probably more "peaceful" than the protests you have in mind. History books and media leave a lot of stuff out.
Also, one thing I've noticed during BLM, is the protests usually start off very peaceful, then police come in and escalate things. After getting gassed, pepper sprayed, beaten, and shot with rubber bullets, people don't tend to be as peaceful anymore.
Mcdonald's has been systematically raising prices until they see resistance from customers. They've been bragging about it during earnings, and their EPS growth has been phenomenal. In my local area there are fast-food places that used to be more expensive than McDonald's, but are now cheaper, and have better quality.
Server side rendering looks like it could be useful. I imagine SSR could be used for graceful degradation, so what would normally be a single page application could work without Javascript. Though, I've never tried SSR, and nobody seems to care about graceful degradation anymore.
I wonder what kind of diet vegans are following that get deficiencies. I've been vegan for years (started because I had high cholesterol levels), and the only thing I've worried about is B12, which I get from enriched soy products or nutritional yeast. I try to just buy what's in season locally, then find vegan recipes or recipes that can easily be substituted to make vegan. I don't even eat much of the trendy "superfoods" like quinoa, kale, lentils, etc. More like collard/sweet potato/beet greens, chickpeas, pinto beans, root veggies, etc. I dunno where I get my iron from; probably greens. I also use veg or olive oil pretty liberally, especially in recipes that traditionally include beef or pork.
