They usually do this because other things depend on it, so it cannot collapse or they percieve it as such/ that that is important/ that for example workers can’t go somewhere else. They don’t see how the benefits don’t outweigh the risk.
I like how on lemmy you see both how much upvotes and downvotes you have, on reddit you could have a score of 1 and don’t know much has happened, but with lemmy you could have 50 upvotes and 49 downvotes, making you really think about it…
I believe that’s how it works, but I just don’t understand how that makes any sense. They’re just playing with numbers in the air, making a line diagraph go up and down… I just don’t get it.
Ok, so this is my first time using lemmy, been about almost a week since I deleted the official reddit app. Was annoying with the ads, but what made me finally delete it, was it not respecting my wishes that I didn’t want notifications, constantly asking about it again. I used Apollo which was pretty great, but it would have been nice having the Sync app I had on android, there was just nothing like it. Now since July 1st I switched over to the official app, but that’s just bad. Hope I have a nice time here! They should fix logging in with the site, cause that just doesn’t work, having no effect when I log in. Luckily this works, am curious :)
Haha, maybe the AI uses those subjects, because those are the two things people discuss the most at the end.
