I sometimes wonder what I would do if I was drafted for some insane US v China war, and my only hope is I would live long enough to surrender. Idk how China would treat prisoners of war but it's probably better than dieing for some bullshit imperialists.

This balloon thing is honestly one of the most ridiculous things they have pushed in a while. Like seriously, ham radio nerds will form groups and send up these weather balloons all the time. Why the fuck would China need a weather balloon to do what they, more than likely, already have satellites doing?

I can't wait for half of these to end up under Russian control.

You all remember when a whole bunch of ppl protested and asked the police in the US to stop murdering innocent people? Then the police went and murdered ever more innocent people and government gave the police more money? Then the police stood by while a bunch of children were murdered during a school shooting while the police stood around looking at their phones and laughing?

They did react rather aggressively to some of those comments. Not saying it was warranted but you have to learn some finesse. Especially as it seems the admins are less lenient than what was otherwise believed.

When you deal with these libs you have to shred their argument and be hyper passive aggressive. Make them look the fool and insult their ego. Get mad and typing in all caps only fuels their smugness. You have to either not engage the trolls or break down their trash arguments. Not so much to best the troll but to win over the other people that are reading that comment. You aren't arguing to beat them you have to argue to win over the readers. Sure, it's a pain, but it's what needs to be done if you want people to believe you are in the right. You also need to know when to disengage. You can post all the sources and shit you want they will just decry your argument and call you a shill.

I don't think there's a single campaign promise he hasn't broken at this point. I was gonna end this with "lol" but then I realized just how fucking sad that is.

I remember the first time the video was posted to reddit and all the neck beards were drooling over the singers and appalled by the audience not wanting to worship them. Then there were also the comments saying this is actually how respect is shown in the DPRK because their laws are so strict they would be executed for showing excitement or some bullshit.

Literally stalking and downvoting in their pathetic little tantrums is all the can do. Let them. What I like about Lemmy is it shows upvote and downvote counts so you can tell how many of them there are out and about.
