  • That's good 👍. I still have no idea how cold or hot it is if someone expressed temperature in Fahrenheit.

  • And shitting about it didn't actually close it down, did it 😒.

  • I actually kinda like being the first to comment on a post... it raises post and view count and people that have Hot or Active selected in their feed, will most probably get that post in there if enough people comment.

  • I actually kinda like that... makes me laugh as well 😂... but maybe it's just me, I'm kinda weird.

  • I never liked them too saggy, maybe like the guy on the far left, but that's about as saggy as I'll go... and they have to be laced at the bottom so I don't mop the pavement while I walk.

  • I am Jack's lack of funds.

  • When you realize that hell is actually where the party is at.

  • That's what you get when you suddenly switch from imperial to metric đŸ€·. It's a bit more "tidier" (from what I know) in the US. They started putting up distance signs with both miles and km in some states, so people get a general idea of how they correlate to each other... which is good I guess. I mean, most of the world has a general idea how to convert a mile to a km (it's 1.6, but I use 1.5 to get a general ballpark figure), while only military personnel over there have an idea of how much of a distance a km is.

They still measure weight about anything flesh or food related in pounds though.

  • If it's that close to you, it wouldn't really matter.

  • That's why I said sometimes đŸ€·.

  • Yeah, there were bogus videos like that. I think there was a guy that did cooking videos on PH, lol.

  • Some of the feed types are broken, devs are working on the issues one bug at a time. Currently, they're aiming for stability, rather than usability, but those fixes will eventually get merged in the BE as well.

  • Not having suggestion algos and customized feeds can sometimes be a good thing.

  • I'll probably tire of it soon.

Yeah, this is something that ticks people off for some reason... like they expect you to be married to the social network or something. It's not interesting for me any more, I don't visit it, get over it.

  • Lemmy fires just the right synapses... at least for me. Reddit was becomming more like "scroll, scroll scroll, oh here's something interesting... no, it's not that interesting... scroll, scroll, scroll".

  • Yeah, I do New all the time, don't know why people don't recommend that option more often đŸ€·.

  • Yeah, stats are in that ball park for me as well 😂.

  • Somewhat... like i find ways to escape work and obligations even for a short while, to browse Lemmy 😁. Yeah, that seems like an additction 😂.
