Their massive population has been brigading internet discussions for a long time. If any factual criticism you have over anything related to india gets some attention, they start spawn hacking. They just keep coming.

The thing about braves adblock is, it ain't customizable at all. For sites that are constantly changing, with Firefox and ublock, you can somewhat debug whats wrong. With brave, you'll have to wait for an update on their end.

For people like me who just can't shake off WhatsApp, because they need it for messaging people, you can use beeper and turn off most of the permissions for whatsapp and keep whatever WhatsApp does at bay, limiting its access. UNLESS it is for calls, beeper can't take calls. It will notify you to open the whatsapp when there is an incoming call.

Beeper is built on matrix and claims "zero-access encryption", and has no ads yet.

I still use flynx, so I know what do you mean. I heard that google was severely limiting for apps that display over other apps (security/privacy threats), so development was challenging . It's sad there aren't any options in this area right now.

I've lost a lot of bookmarks due to corruption or bookmarks being duplicated on organic and it's predecessors. I bookmark all sort of things in my travels. So, a better backup system would be a deciding factor for me, at least.

The best way to browse on your Phone is on Firefox with its massive collection of extensions (that arent neutered to google's liking).

Firefox's not perfect or the fastest, but I can wait a few ms for it to be actually useful.
