  • I've had LGs for years (just got a new C3 OLED) and they don't require internet access to function. My current OLED isn't connected and works perfectly fine. I use a standalone Roku for streaming.

  • Nor Ohio, we're anything but great.

  • Hear me out: what if you made it entirely from parts created by a larger CNC machine?

  • Good looking out, I need to kick them another donation. My wife and I got the member cards which are amazing a few months back. I should browse the rest of their store.

  • Huh, I always though Musk would be Ted Faro not Bezos.

  • And because the average GOP voter is incapable of critical thinking or any form of independent research they eat it up every time. They just blindly drink from the Fox "News" fire-hose.

  • Yeah, we have WAY too many old fucks creating laws/policy that they either don't truly understand, won't be impacted by, or is just to enrich themselves.

This isn't limited to POTUS. It's congress, SCOTUS, hell the governor of my state (Ohio) is 77.

  • Still works for me, but the direct link jeff posted doesn't work. Use the first link then click on the "Submit to Portal" button. It seems to generate some sort of a GUID that's maybe tied to a session? I didn't dig very far into it as I'm about to shut my computer down as it's date/store night, lol.

  • Not even a captcha, that's rookie-level shit. I could automate spamming the shit out of that in my sleep.

  • Are these socialists in the room with you now, Todd?

  • Because car prices in general have skyrocketed, more Americans are keeping their current cars for longer. This means costly repairs can become more likely, and the car insurers have adjusted their rates accordingly.

This makes zero sense as insurance doesn't cover vehicle maintenance/repairs.

  • It's still up on the site, I'm not going to link it because that seems like a bad idea. There were donations as of a few minutes ago.

  • Stuff like more order-at-the-counter or online from your phone instead of a human waiter coming to your table.

This already seems to be happening as companies push to squeeze more and more profits for the shareholders. I was at a local pizza place not long ago that you were forced to scan the QR code and order yourself. They did bring the food out, but that was it. You even had to get your own drink and refills.

Off-topic, but that was also the biggest bill I had from a pizza place in as long as I can remember. It was bumping $100 for 4 of us to eat sub-par pizza and drink water.

  • Really glad I made the transition from ESXi to Docker containers about a year ago. Easier to manage too and lighter on resources. Plus upgrades are a breeze. Should have done that years ago...

  • I said this to my wife and she totally missed it...I had to pull up the cutscene on Youtube.

  • He also has said:

Take the guns first, go through due process second

    So yeah...

  • My wife took me to a going away party for one of her co-workers where I literally only knew her (obviously) and the neurosurgeon she works for. She introduced me to like 30 people over the course of the evening then would ask days/weeks later "do you remember so and so?" I forgot their names they moment we moved on, lol.

  • I mean, republicans have for many, many years voted against their own best interests because they are brain-washed by Fox "news" and similar. Hell, many of them are on "Obama care" which they hate with a passion. Or as my wife can attest, on disability because they can no longer work a factory job and refuse to change and find something else. So they whine and complain that the need disability. Where are your bootstraps you hypocritical assholes?!
