  • Awww yeh!! At home i have your typical above stove cupboard with 2 shelves that is completely full, 2 deep on each shelf. I then have an entire basket under my butchers block full of spices and another full of sauces haha

  • Its funny looking at recipes online sometimes and they look tasty and they have a few serves of veg so look healhtyish etc, but then they have a creamy sauce or something and butter and pasta/bread and they end up being 800+ calories per serve

  • I think im going to apply for a volunteer photographer position for a Vic dog rescue organisation. Will be great practice for the studio my partner and i are working towards opening and ill get to help the doggos find their people :)

  • Competed in another marathon axe throwing tournament on Sunday. The level of competition was crazy, 12 out of 19 people hitting the max score throughout the day, i hit it 6 times, the top guy hit it 12 times. Finished the round robin in 3rd and then after an incredibly tough finals came home with 3rd place. Everything is really coming together, i have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the last 3 major comps ive entered and its all great practice for Sydney in September :)

  • Biggest thing im trying to learn still, and will continue to need to learn is to PAUSE!!! I need to start doing it before anything i do, say, etc. Need to practice it for it to become the norm, but pausing before reacting, or speaking or doing is so important with an anxious brain. I also liked in the book im reading the process of SPOT, STOP, SWAP. It talks of recognising negative thoughts and spotting them, stopping once you have spotted them and then finding a way to swap that thought for a positive one :)
