Blokada vs Lockdown Privacy for iOS

Which AdBlocker do you guys prefer with focus being on functionality, battery life, and connectivity (no drop offs/disconnects)?

- This is the way. No need to be using apps that drain your battery even more.
  
  Does that block YouTube ads?
- Is there an ELI5 for what NextDNS is/does? I downloaded and enabled it because I see it recommended often enough, but I have no idea what it does for me or if there's anything else I need to be doing with it.
  
  NextDNS is a privacy respecting DNS service. You can learn more HERE. If you’re unable to self host your own PiHole or Adguard Home, it’s the next best option.
Technitium that I host myself. Works like a charm.
No apps, just use a DNS server that blocks ads. I like Control D. They have servers with many major blocklists and can be used with DoH, DoT, or just old unencrypted DNS if needed.
- First time I hear about Control D. Have you by any chance used it and NextDNS? If yes: Which one do you think is better and wyh?
