So..they just copied the models of the US and increasingly the rest of the West?
- Wait, are you telling me outside of the west that it’s a veritable cornucopia of equality, egalitarianism, and liberty where the elites don’t run the country?

  I get what you're saying when it comes to most Western countries, but the US really IS that bad. Billionaires are pampered more in the US than royalty is in Saudi Arabia.
  
  Because the west coup'd every state that wanted to do better for its people lmfao. Never heard of the countless wars the US waged against communism? The neoliberal state of the world was imposed by force through imperialism and subsequently financial domination. The world bank is one of its very tools.
I imagine that the model was created by elite people and so didn’t actually fail but behaved as designed.
So it's just the same model as everyone else?
World Bank says development model promoted by World Bank for every country only benefits World Bank.
