My cat smells my coffee and then recoils in disgust and sneers at it every morning. I'm not sure how much she hates it if she keeps smelling it every day. Maybe it's part of her morning ritual now.

Was it yours before you found it? Or is it newly homed?
We got Rocky as kitten 3 years ago from a local cat welfare charity. His mom was a feral rescue cat.
so it's not an entire surprise... "OH hey! uh. hello."
"MEOW" [translation: you now have a cat.]
