To me, nothing has quite damaged China’s reputation more in recent years than how they handled Covid. Yes, I’m aware of the human rights abuses, Hong Kong and all of that. There’s not an excuse to not be fully transparent and absolutely accommodating and helpful to your fellow nations in the face of a global pandemic.
