Ganymede was a prince. He never boned Jupiter (or Zeus) as far as I know.

That's what happens when you get a bunch of super smart people in a room
- It's like a Futurama joke that flies over most people's heads
- This is what happens when people have a basic knowledge of history and basic background knowledge of their field of expertise.
  That's not to minimize their intelligence and competence; that's to say that it is expected that astronomers would know the names and histories of major nearby celestial bodies.
Uranus' moons are named after Shakespeare characters which I always think is kinda fun!
