That's an interesting take. Where I live Democrats are not the ones driving their huge coal rolling pickups around with thin blue line flags flying off the back. The Democrats are the ones passing measures to enforce police reform.

You're getting down voted because we have a two-party system and anything negative against Democrats puts us at risk.
But you're not wrong. The Democrats are still center or center-right, and they're definitely still pro police and think that increasing police capacity somehow decreases crime. There are a couple notable exceptions, but generally that's the case.

If anyone is surprised that Mr. Adams, a former cop is somehow corrupt, I've got a bridge to sell them.
I mean, it's not like he hired his own brother as his head of security right after being elected in no-holds-barred show of nepotism. /s
