I would love if they wiped the floor. Seems like F1 wanted USA involved due to US money but they did not want them too involved, like please watch don't touch
Unfortunately this is highly unlikely even if they join because the skills required for F1 are very specialised even in the context of motor racing. They will need at least a few years to adapt and hire people with the relevant knowledge.
