  Gotta love federation issues. Still seeing the original version over on the instance I use.
Question: I tried about a month ago to get this going and it seemed like it wouldn't work for YouTube unless my phone was rooted. Am I missing something?

- I had to download the APK from apkmirror, and build it from local storage. Worked perfectly fine after that.
- you probably get more features with root, but i've been running it rootless since vanced
  
  Yeah Vanced worked for me rootless. I'll try again and see what happens.
