I am glad I gave this series a chance as I have been having fun with it. I think they have paced things pretty well so far in revealing Max's backstory to us in bits and pieces and partially through flashbacks and partially through exposition from other characters. We have yet to actually see Max open up about anything, so I am looking forward to building up to that at some point.
