It's got to be hard to maintain the momentum once the government decides they're fine with murdering the protesters. The Iranian government also let women go without headscarves for this long, I imagine as a way to let the temperature cool. They never intended to repeal the law, only let the protests disperse letting the protesters think they'd won that small concession.
They're probably banking on protesters not being able to use Twitter to organize.
- If only there was a way to have Twitter like features spread across hundreds if not thousands of independently owned servers that could join together in a sort of union or federation, if you will, as they see fit for their purpose. Oh well, I guess I can dream.

I do wish the women of Iran the best. I hope they still have the will to fight.

Hopefully they protest even harder now, but we'll see.

Dumb question, but the headscarf's purpose is to cover the women's hair, right? So what if all protesting women go bald to piss the religious guys off, would that work?

I guarantee you, they'll think it's a dumb question because the abusers will just attack any women who shaves her head. They don't actually care.
It will take solidarity among the Iranian people or outside intervention to fix these problems. Unfortunately, a lot of Iranian women are also rewarding the men who do this with sex.

Blame the oppressive government and religion, not the people. They're the victims.

Unfortunately, this is the end result of religious nationalism. Let it serve as further warning for those who want to enact it.
- I wish we'd learn the lesson that manipulating other countries often ends up in people being reactionary and turning toward religious nationalism to fight back against the foreign enemy. This government is in power because of Western governments' actions. And then supporting a brutal proxy war against them and trying to isolate them internationally after that failed sure hasn't helped. It just fuels the reactionaries.
