Why are we linking to "Stop Population Decline" and treating it like a real news site? Can we have some linking standards and not use random blog sites and advocacy groups?
Like the Financial Post?
Not to mention which standards?
Google News standards?

Honestly, it looks like you can’t find fault in the article information, so you are making a respectability argument so you can attacking the source
A standard that involves two minutes of checking the About page and seeing if they are a news organization.
Google doesn't have standards. They only follow whatever makes them a profit.
I am ignoring the content of the article and pointing out a very common problem with !worldnews@lemmy.ml. There is a ton of disinformation, propaganda sites, and web sites that are specifically pushing some agenda.
And the first rule on this site is: "Please only post links to actual news sources, no tabloid sites, etc."
Stop Population Decline is not a news site. It is a web site for specifically designed for pushing an agenda.
