Why does she know about this before the President of the United States? Why is the President of the United States having discussions with Putin without knowing this information?
Trump is openly admitting that he's completely incompetent as President.

I suppose Melania has somewhat of a stake in European security given I imagine she still has family or friends back in Slovenia
- I don't think so, all the important (read: rich) ones already chain-migrated to the US.
- Everything she is allowed to say publicly has been chosen for her.
