Saving lives is efficient

As a USian it feels wrong to say, but ask yourself what if it was true?

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
With respect to healthcare, any "savings" that come from denial of care, are negated by the social cost of a less healthy population.
- Maybe we can make a deal. Maybe together we can get somewhere. Any place is better.
  Starting from zero, got nothing to lose :) Maybe we'll make something. Me, myself, I got nothing to prove!
  You got a fast car. I got a plan to get us out of here. I been working at the convenience store. Managed to save just a little bit of money! Won't have to drive too far... Just 'cross the border and into the city. You and I can both get jobs.. And finally see what it means to be living!
I really don't understand the meaning? am I missing something here?
- No polling indicated public opinion shifted on this and we are being adaptive!
  It seems to be working but none of the thinktanks we work with can identify why yet, we suspect an influencer on a social media platform we haven't discovered yet is spreading these ideas.
wtf is a USian? Is it like asian but with a ‘u’?
