Dr Symeonides says only one-third of those chemicals appear to have been evaluated for their potential hazard, and about "75 per cent" of those evaluated have been identified as hazardous.
So basically flood the world with chemicals without care if they're dangerous and be very surprised when bad things happen.
- "The solution to pollution is dilution" is capitalist propaganda to avoid paying for their externalities.
  We live in an enclosed biosphere, and have been polluting it — poisoning it — well beyond what is sustainable for well over a century, and are continuing to peak ecocide every year, with no reduction in sight.
  So yeah, we have microplastics in our balls and brains, are breathing air, drinking water, and eating food, with an ever increasing number of synthetic chemical compounds that are literally poisonous. What the fuck we think was gonna happen? Eternal youth?

  Quite sure there is PFAS that will some day make us all sterile. Humanity will go with a whimper. Last being small lab grown authoritarian societies.
Disclaimer: I'm not a medical person, but I did learn some biology 20 years ago. I'm not competent enough to give a firm opinion, but I'll try to guess a bit.
all the listed cancer types affect internal organs
I notice that skin cancer isn't rising
I notice that esophagal, mouth and gastric cancer are not listed (but liver cancer is)
I conclude that risk of cancer hasn't risen equally for all cancers
I guess that toxicity from alcohol or tobacco is not involved, but could play a small role
several organs involved in digestion are listed, one should look at what people eat & drink
several reproductive organs are listed, one should look for dysregulation and hormonal unbalance
Overall, I would recommend to look for clues in these directions:
is there a shift in food / beverage types?
is there a shift in food / beverage processing (e.g. towards ultra processed)?
is there a shift in packaging (e.g. different metal for cans, different plastic or more plastic for trays)?
is there a shift in food preparation (e.g. different cooking methods)?
is there a shift in calorie intake or gut microbiome (e.g. bacterial species that produce toxins that eventually cause cancer)?
is there a chemical contamination of food or beverage sources?
is there a shift towards sedentary lifestyle?
- Could be like France where the rise in cancers (especially pancreatic ones) is linked to cadmium in the plants (french farmers currently use phosphates from Moroccan mines that are very high on cadmium, poisoning the plant based food that is eaten there, cereals and veggies alike). The rest of the EU uses stricter heavy metals tolerances and uses phosphates produced in Europe or China, that have way lower cadmium levels.
  Doctors unions have recently pulled the alarm and recommend the general public to only eat organic, as phosphates are not allowed.
Blame industry. Or shut up.
