"I was at the airport and i fought my social anxiety and decided to talk to other passengers. One was a mother who invited me to stay with her. I even got my own bed, when i woke up i was greeted by a bath tub full of ice and was missing a kidney. Because this is far more likely to happen then sleeping with somebody's wife and there husband being a prominent person at a fortune 500 company. Then some how like whodeeny pulling a position out his has. At said company,"
"getting into bed together"
and
"careful who you get into bed with"
are so old/common in the business world that its hard for me to relate to most of the comments on this one.
Even meeting the spouse first is nothing new in the world of business or "high-society" contacts. The only thing new here is that he got his own bed and didn't have to mention the couch or leave it even more vague.
Where does it say that? Am I stupid?
He is subtle-ly playing into the wordgame that he had sex with her, but really just stayed over overnight.
Had my own bed implies they slept alone.
Added context is that the extra line breaks make only the image and the first line load at first
Isn't the husband the investor? Wouldn't he be subtly saying he slept with her husband.
Okay cool.
How exactly is he supposed to say he slept with someone without y'all going "SEX!!! THAT MEANS THEY HAD SEX!!!"
Like you've basically made it impossible to get the information across "I have slept with someone else."
Nowhere. I don't know?
